What is Hypnosis?

 

Hypnosis is a trance like state that is similar to when you are driving down the road and you just went by your exit. Or how about ending up at your destination very safely but, not quite sure how you got there! This is called road hypnosis and is very much the same thing that happens to you during hypnosis.

 

Hypnosis also, referred to as hypnotherapy in which hypnotic suggestions are given and guided by a hypno-therapist and is different from your everyday waking thoughts or awareness.

During your hypnosis session

         

·        Your attention is more focused

·        Your calm and extremely relaxed

·        Your open to suggestions to accept positive changes  

 

The purpose of hypnosis is to help you gain more control over your emotions or behavior's or to help with medical issues.

It is not clear how hypnosis works. But, this state of deep trance allows the mind to relax and when that occurs hypnosis is performed while the everyday thoughts and worries are put to the side and pure relaxation and acceptance of hypnosis takes place.
